The 390000 series outer spherical bearings fix the inner ring of the bearing to the shaft through an eccentric sleeve, and the hexagon socket screws on the eccentric sleeve play a tightening role. During maintenance, many operators do not know how to disassemble and assemble this kind of bearings, so it is necessary to introduce the technical points and precautions for disassembling and assembling 390000 series outer spherical bearings:

Disassembly

1. First use an Allen wrench to loosen the locking screw on the bearing eccentric sleeve, then insert a small iron rod into the countersunk hole on the top cover eccentric sleeve, and loosen the eccentric sleeve against the rotation direction of the shaft.

2. Loosen the bolts securing the bearing housing. Remove the bearing with the housing from the shaft. Pay attention before removing the bearing seat at one end of the shaft. The bearing seat bolt at the other end of the shaft should be loosened to avoid damage to the bearings at both ends.

Install

1. Before installing the bearing on the shaft, you must first remove the fixing pin of the bearing jacket, polish the journal surface smooth and clean, and apply oil to the journal to prevent rust and lubricate it (allowing the bearing to rotate slightly on the shaft).

2. Apply lubricating oil to the mating surfaces of the bearing seat and the bearing, and install the bearing into the bearing seat. Then put the assembled bearing and bearing seat on the shaft. Push it to the desired position for installation.

3. Do not tighten the bolts that fix the bearing seat first, so that the bearing sleeve can rotate in the bearing seat. Also install the bearing and seat at the other end of the same shaft, rotate the shaft a few times, and let the bearing itself automatically find its position. Then tighten the bearing seat bolts.

4. Install the eccentric sleeve. First put the eccentric sleeve on the eccentric step of the inner sleeve of the bearing and tighten it by hand in the direction of rotation of the shaft. Then insert or push the small iron rod into the countersunk hole on the eccentric sleeve. Hit the small iron rod with a hand hammer in the direction of rotation of the shaft. Make sure the eccentric sleeve is installed securely, and finally tighten the hexagon socket screws on the eccentric sleeve.
